The Fallen 0.1 (work in progress)

THE UI WILL SAY "The Game" for the main menu, as I do NOT know if the project will actually be titled "The Fallen" or not. I thought it was a pretty cool name, but I do not want to name the project until we have a little more content.

LAN Play works. Singleplayer works. Saving/Loading works. With more and more coming!

The Fallen is a prototype that I am working on. This is MY FIRST game project in Unreal Engine, or on any engine for that matter! Hello, my Name is Kaleb, I am 21 years old, and have been fascinated with video games since I was a child. I took a great interest in the development side of things when I started watching a YouTuber back in the day called "Brackeys".  In September of 2024, my daughter was born, and it was around that time that I decided to not just let my dreams be dreams that never come to fruition. I wanted to demonstrate to my daughter, that if you work hard and find what you are doing passionate, that you can make it anywhere in life.

With that being said, thank you for taking the time to read all of that haha.

The Fallen is an open-world, survival game. You craft weapons, clothing, bags armor, etc, all things that you need to survive. There are plans to make everything fully replicated (LAN Network Works as of 1/6/2025). On another note, there is only one character at this time, my lovely girlfriend has named him Glenn, so his name is Glenn, you are Glenn! haha. 

There is so much work going into this game that I do not have the time to put it all in here. I can say this though, currently we have over 15 different FULLY modular WEAPONS. Meaning, the barrel comes off, and you can inspect/install attachments etc.. (This portion has not been implemented into the game yet)

I am working on getting setup for a discord and steam page. I look forward to hearing responses and feedback from everyone, donations are NOT expected, but will be greatly appreciated. All funding I receive will go to the project, and making it better, and to help keep the cost of running this prototype paid for!
